The room was clean and well equipped. The staff was very pleasant overall;particularly Liz and the lady who coordinates breakfast in the mornings. We realized that our thermostat was broken on our last morning but the weather was so mild that it wasn’t a big deal. Our only complaint was the housekeeper on the 5th floor who k ocked on the door before checkout time to ask if we were leaving. Really? Otherwise, we had an enjoyable stay.

I was so blessed that Desmond was able to help make my son’s birthday the best… despite rain AND COVID! He went above and beyond. I will return, perfect spot for small town families to meet and gather!

My husband and I spent a night at this hotel in September 2020while attending a vow renewal for relatives. The husband unfortunately passed away in January 2021 and we visited again, so my husband reserved a King executive room for 1 night. When we got there, it was like 2 am as we were visiting with relatives. After unloading our stuff, we turned the TV on and realized it wouldn’t come on. We called the front desk, and Lizzy/Elizabeth said the only thing she could do is have someone look at it in the morning, or put us in a Queen room. My husband does not do queen beds, and I was pregnant at the time so he wanted me to be comfortable. We told her that we leave in the morning so them looking at it in the morning wouldn’t help, and we didn’t want a queen room. I asked if they’d give us a discount since the TV wasn’t working, and she said she isn’t allowed to. We packed our things and went to another Holiday Inn in the area. Before we left, my husband spoke to Lizzy and asked if she could contact a manager, make a note or something, she stated that she was not able to do that, she would do nothing to accommodate us with the TV situation. I called guest relations and made a complaint. When the manager Desmond called me back, he stated that Lizzy told him that she offered to come and fix the TV and we said no, LIE. He asked me to send him an email, and I did. He mentioned giving us even a part of the money back which was better than nothing. After I sent the email, I didn’t hear from him. When I did call back, he claim all he could do is give us some points for another stay. They knew the TV wasn’t working, that was the last King suite, but they just wanted the money. And to not give us a dime back after we didn’t stay, AND the TV wasn’t working, was a shame. And Lizzy ought to be ashamed of herself for lying like that, but if she lied about us, she’ll lie about something else. We definitely won’t be staying there again if we are ever in the area again, CROOKS! AFTER this little message from them how sorry they are and to reach out, I did, and guess what? NO RESPONSE! Again, they are crooks!

Nice theater. Good service 👍👌. Some rude patrons but the establishment itself was nice. Friendly staff and affordable prices. Was very clean including the restrooms. Will make many more family outings here 😀.

The place was clean and neat, all the staff were very professional and friendly. The popcorn was fresh and reasonable priced. The theater was clean and the seats were very comfortable, the film and sound was good. I would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys movies on the big screen.

Glad the movies are back open! Sound quality is still great and happy to see they are still doing summer specials for classic movies. They sell beer and wine at this location and have great food options as well.

Have gotten glasses here several times. Great staff and very good selection of frames. Always find a pair of frames that fit properly. Tried a local chain eyeglass store with their own lab two years ago, paid close to $400 after insurance, worst glasses ever. Went back and was basically told that’s what the doctor ordered. Came back to this WalMart Vision Center and had a pair of glasses made, they were perfect. I can see again!! Thanks.

I am particular about choosing frames and have never found it easy to work with someone to do so. I found assistance with ease in the guidance of Shirley Grigsby not once, but three times! I purchased one set of frames and was so satisfied with them that I went back and chose another set to buy. Shirley was professional and courteous. Moreover, she extended a great deal of her heart and jovial personality that told me she loved her job. That made the experiences so much better. After purchasing my second pair, I decided to take my 11 year old in to get assistance in choosing her perfect frame. Shirley came through again with great success. I have shared my satisfaction with all who will listen, as working with my daughter is not a simple task. With typical preteen attitude, comes complete and utter distaste in anything I think looks good on her. It took mere minutes for Shirley to gain the trust of my child and personably guide her to a frame that was made just for her. My daughter has been in glasses since she was almost 4. The task of choosing every pair throughout the years has never been so painless. I wish all people had the same ability to make others feel that comfortable with decision making. Kudos, Ms. Grigsby. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and will most definitely be back again!

Great location, very respectful staff, nice environment with a pool right next to a Movie theater, a couple of restaurants not to mention a putt putt with go karts and arcade games for the kids. Couldn’t have picked a better location to live in the hope mills area.

This place is so terrible, my granddaughter lives there , 3 times at the least she has had really bad leaks and floor flooding in the laundry room, never fixed so that it would quit leaking , air conditioning has been broken on several occasions, when it gets fixed , it only last 1 or 2 days , she has a 2 year old baby with health issues , and they come home after work to a 85-90 degree apartment and no one to call as they don’t even have a after hours emergency number , and when they do send someone, the air only works for 1 or 2 days . Right now on a Saturday night they come home to z90 degrees inside and no one to call until Monday , very unacceptable..

Terrible! No one ever answers the phone in photos, my photos are never ready in an hour, when I physically go there I have to wait at least 10-20 minutes for an associate to help me in the photo section! Terrible customer service! I actually hate dealing with Wal-mart photos in Hope Mills. The one on Gillespie Street is great!

I just got called from one of their employees saying me and my daughter didn’t pick out glasses in January and that we just refused to when in fact we even went back in March and picked out another pair again. Now a month later I get a call saying that this lady did her job and we just refuse to pick out glasses when in fact we picked out twice. We will never go back.

I took my daughter to Dr. Risk and this was our first visit. From being checked in, the Technician an Dr. Risk were absolutely phenomenal! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them! Thank you all for such a wonderful experience for my daughter and myself.

I absolutely look forward to my appts with Andrew and his staff. Having glaucoma and needing vision field tests 3 times a year, he makes sure I am not tired for this exam to get the best picture of what is going on in my eyes. Sometimes the wait time can be a bit long, but what do you expect when you’re seeing the best! Thank you Andrew and staff! You make the visit worth while!

This subway use to be very good but it honestly went down hill after a while. My sandwich wasn’t made correctly and only had to two types of meat on there. I asked for provolone cheese and they gave me American cheese . The sandwich itself was really flat and all I could taste was bread. I’m never going to this subway again, it’s horrible.

The woman at the front desk here is one of the rudest people I have met in customer service. I went to get a protein bowl and a sandwich. I asked for double protein, no problems so far. Then at checkout she charged me TWICE for double protein and when I pointed it out, she said it was automatically double protein. I have checked with the app and other stores that is NOT TRUE. I then tried to reach out to the corporate office and never got a response. I would recommend going to any other subway than this one.

Apparently the pharmacy does not answer phone calls I am currently still on hold 40 minutes so far……. This has always been an issue. They don’t go the extra mile to help you transfer a prescription… unfortunately I have to drive to the Walgreens 25 minutes away because the one 5 minutes from my house is to busy.. HOW COME THEY AREN’T ALL FIRED YET? 1 star since I can’t do negative 5 stars…. Yes I’m still on hold

They helped out when a different uhaul dealer mistakenly said they had an auto transport trailer but didn’t. They started my process 15min before closing on a Saturday night. Also, there was a mistake that billed me for 2 days and after a 5 minute phone call they resolved it. Very helpful and honest.

We got chicken/shrimp bento boxes & they were really good. My only complaint was more grease needed to be drained off tempura items but they were still yummy. Plenty of food for $18 & good customer service.

Got into a car accident, not at fault but the cops printer supposedly ran out ink????? Still haven’t received my driver exchange info?? Went to police department in person, said the officer is in court and was going to call me!! Haven’t gotten any information back yet and I need to make a claim but can’t due to laziness and lack of ink in the cops car printer??? Really??? But the police department was maybe 3 blocks from the accident and can’t give me my information? 2 days after the accident? I’m supposed to have this information the day of the accident right???

I called for a domestic violence issue and the officers arrived and laughed at me and mocked me terribly. They believed my soon-to-be-ex husband instead of listening to me. When they laughed and shook their heads at me I asked for a new officer. Officer “J” shouted “That’s not how this works!!” And smirked. I asked “J” for his business card to which he mocked me and shouted “BUSINESS CARD?! BUSINESS CARD?!” Then points to his badge and shouts “THIS IS MY BUSINESS CARD!!” I do not know what you were trying to achieve by bullying a woman who has gone through so much with a mentally ill husband. My husband chased me downstairs and threatened me so I called police. Shame on you for not taking me seriously. I am lucky myself and my child are safe….without any of your help. Who are we supposed to go to when in need if not you? Why be in a position of power for the wrong reasons? It’s a sad day when you know your city’s officers do not support women.

They always always always forget something; and it’s usually the sauces and the receipt. How do you tip if you don’t get a receipt? I don’t believe in tipping before I get my food, and I have had delivery people just keep walking as I am talking them. Tonight I’ve just had it 5 times in a row they forgot my sauces and extras that I’ve ordered and tonight I was put on “hold for 20 minutes.” No one picked up. So now my pizzas cold I’m put 3 bucks in sauces. And the delivery girl had nothing to do with it because she was from door dash, and yes did tip her. So, apparently Papa John’s still can’t get it together.

Cheese is missing in certain spots and there is hardly any pepperoni. Or at least it’s not spread out. And then my 2nd pizza was supposed to be half cheese half “the works” but the whole things is “the works.” Call back but they are closed now sooo. I know I order 30 mins before close but I still expected it be right and complete at least. I will call in the morning and if it handled properly I will of course adjust my rating.
